Maruti Suzuki will be revealing the Vitara Brezza for the first time to the public at the 2016 Auto Expo but pictures of the vehicle have been revealed and the compact SUV looks appealing.
Yesterday we reported about the variants and features of the highly anticipated Maruti Vitara Brezza and today we have some more buzz on the vehicle. The compact SUV is going to be launched in March while the automaker will showcase it at the upcoming 2016 Auto Expo. Some official pictures of the compact SUV have been leaked and the first thing that we notice is the fact that it comes in quite a few attractive dual-tone colour schemes.
The Maruti Vitara Brezza has an attractive design and the dimensions also seem pretty good. The front bumper has a rugged styling philosophy infused in it while the grille has a very appealing design. The side profile is neat but the black body cladding helps in breaking the monotony of the design. Since the SUV measures below 4-metres in length, it will also benefit from excise benefits. The vehicle will be offered in four variants – LDi, VDi, ZDi and ZDi+.
On the insides, the Maruti Vitara Brezza gets a dashboard which is similar to the one on the S-Cross. The piano black centre console looks very good and the equipment list is also long with a lot of features like climate control AC, projector headlamps, 60:40 split rear seats, steering-mounted controls, infotainment system, electric demister, driver seat height adjustment, rear wiper, rear armrest, cooled storage, Apple CarPlay, in-built GPS navigation, cruise control and automatic headlights.
Maruti Suzuki will only be offering a diesel engine with the vehicle and the oil-burner is the same 1.3-litre DDiS unit that is found under the hood of the Swift, DZire, Ertiga and Ciaz. The motor belts out either 75 PS of power and 190 Nm of torque or 90 PS of power and 200 Nm of torque (with SHVS), the exact tune of the mill isn’t confirmed yet. Maruti’s compact SUV will be competing with the Ford EcoSport and Mahindra TUV300.
