Maruti has showcased the Tour S sedan in India at the Prawaas 2017 exhibition. The Tour S is a rebadged version of the Dzire Tour and is sold only as a commercial vehicle to taxi and fleet operators like Ola and Uber etc. The Tour S is priced at Rs. 5.21 lakhs (ex-showroom, Mumbai).
Replacing the Dzire Tour, the Tour S comes powered by petrol, CNG or diesel fuel options. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre K-Series unit producing 83 HP and 115 Nm of torque and the diesel engine is a 1.3-litre DDiS unit producing 75 HP and 190 Nm of torque. Both these engines come mated a 5-speed manual gearbox.
The Tour S comes equipped with only basic features like power steering, front power windows, manual AC, dual tone beige and black interior, a simple instrument cluster, black front grille, black door handles and body-coloured bumpers.
The Maruti Tour S in available in a choice of 3 colours – White, Silver & Black and rivals the Hyundai Xcent Prime, Toyota Etios and Tata Zest (fleet variants).
