Maruti Tour H1 launched, Alto K10 based commercial hatch
Maruti Tour H1 launched, priced at Rs. 4.80 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the standard petrol version and Rs. 5.70 lakhs (ex-showroom) for the CNG version.
This is the carmaker’s entry-level commercial hatchback. It looks like the bare bones version of the new Alto K10 which comes with black front and rear bumpers and steel wheels.
The Tour H1 is powered by the same 1.0-litre K-Series, dual jet, dual VVT naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 66.6 PS at 5500 RPM and 89 Nm at 3500 RPM. In CNG mode this engine produces 56.6 PS at 5300 RPM and 82.1 Nm at 3400 RPM. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission, there is no AMT on offer.
Maruti Suzuki claims a fuel efficiency of 24.60 km/l with the petrol variant and 34.46 km/kg with the CNG variant. It has a fuel tank capacity of 27 litres for petrol and 55 litres (water equivalent) for CNG.
It comes with dual airbags, front seat belts with pre-tensioner and force limiter, seat belt reminders for both front and rear passengers, engine immobiliser, Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), speed limiting system, reverse parking sensors, etc.
The Maruti Tour H1 comes in three colour options – Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Granite Grey and Arctic White.
