Maruti Swift Windsong Edition Launched, Priced From Rs. 5.15 Lakhs

Maruti Suzuki has launched yet another limited edition model, this time it’s the Windsong Swift which gets music themed add-ons. This isn’t the first time Maruti Suzuki has done something related to music on its cars, remember the Alto musiK?

Music themed graphics, new wheel covers and black stripes are changed on the outside

What’s the Indian auto market without a special edition being launched from time to time. Paste on some graphics and few additional features that may not really be needed and you are good to go. Starting its quota for special editions for this year is none other than Maruti Suzuki that has launched the ‘Windsong Limited Edition’ for the updated Swift. Targeted at music lovers, the Swift Windsong edition is available only in the mid-level VXi and VDi trims and comes in pearl white paint shade only.

Changes on the Maruti Swift Windsong Edition include new music-themed body graphics on the side profile as well as black racing stripes running across the front hood and the roof. There is also a new wheel cover design and a rear spoiler on offer. On the inside, the changes are more extensive and the vehicle gets black and yellow coloured seat covers and steering cover as well as blue ambient lighting for the floor. There is also illuminated door sill guard, Swift badged floor mats and an upgraded Sony touchscreen unit with SIRI eyes-free control for iPhone.

There are no changes under the hood and the Maruti Swift Windsong Limited Edition continues with the 1.2-litre K-Series petrol motor and the 1.3-litre DDiS diesel engine, paired to a 5-speed manual transmission. Incidentally, the Windsong edition was showcased last year as well but on the pre-facelifted model.
