The Z+ variants will become top of the line trims for the Swift model and will come with an auto gear shift (AGS) option.
Maruti has launched new, top of the line trim levels for its Swift AMT model. Now onwards, the Swift AMT will also be available in the ZXi+ and ZDi+ variants, meaning customers who want an AMT won’t have to skimp on features now.
Beginning with the interiors, the Maruti Swift AGS Z+ variants get a SmartPlay infotainment system that supports Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The system can be also controlled via voice commands and has a navigation system. Rear parking sensors with a rear parking camera also come installed in the Z+ variants of the Swift.
The Maruti Swift ZXi+ and ZDi+ variants also come with LED projector headlamps and LED daytime running lights. The car also gets precision cut, 15-inch alloy wheels. Stopping power is still provided by disc brakes at the front and drum brakes at the rear.
The Maruti Swift AGS Z+ variants are available in the same petrol and diesel engine options that power the other variants of the Swift. The petrol engine is a 1.2-litre motor that churns out 81.8 HP at 6000 RPM and a peak torque of 113 Nm at 4200 RPM. The 1.3-litre diesel motor on the other hand produces 74 HP at 4000 RPM and 190 Nm of peak torque at 2000 RPM.
The price for the Swift ZXi+ AGS variant is Rs. 7.76 lakhs and for the Swift ZDi+ AGS variant is Rs. 8.76 lakhs (both prices, ex-showroom).
