Maruti Suzuki has launched yet another special edition in the form of the Alto K10 MusiK edition. This is a strategy adopted by Maruti Suzuki to push sales to some extent. We have seen this in the past with the company launching the Swift DZire Regal, Swift RS and Ertiga Feliz. Like other limited edition cars from Maruti, we can see a lot of stickering and interior goodies compared to the standard Alto K10. Maruti has not yet officially announced the price of this vehicle but we can expect it to be Rs. 20,000/- more than the regular variants, like we saw in other limited edition cars from the automaker.
The Alto K10 MusiK edition will feature a JVC MP3 player with USB that will highlight the name “MusiK” with two 4-inch front speakers. There will be sporty seat covers and ambient lighting to match the look of the car. MusiK edition steering cover and floor mats will add to the list of features in this limited edition. On the outside, the Alto K10 gets bold body graphics symbolising an equaliser, a rear spoiler and mud flaps which will make the vehicle look different from the regular Alto K10.
Even though the Suzuki Alto has been recently listed as the least safest car in a recent crash test, it is selling in very good numbers even after being so old. The Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 brings to the table a lot of practicality and an ARAI certified fuel efficiency of 20.92 km/l. Most of the Indian buyers just think of only one thing before buying a car, which Maruti adopted as its punchline to sell its products “Kitna dethi hai”. The Alto K10 is one of the top selling cars in India and with a limited edition in their kitty, the company will surely make good profits during this festive season.
