Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 Trim-wise Features Revealed, Base Variant Gets ABS With EBD

Maruti Suzuki Alto K10 has features worth Rs. 1,34,500/- to play around with over the base STD trim

Maruti Suzuki has launched the third generation Alto K10 for an aggressive price tag and the question now arises as to what features are on offer for the asking price.

Here are the trim-wise features your money can get you on the car. First up, there are 4 trims on offer – STD, LXI, VXI, and VXI Plus. The last 2 top-end trims get the option of Auto Gear Shift (AGS) automatic transmission as well.

The trims can be had in any 1 of these 6 colours – Metallic Sizzling Red, Metallic Silky Silver, Metallic Granite Grey, Pearl Metallic Earth Gold, Metallic Speedy Blue, and Solid White.

STD:

The STD trim is the cheapest of the lot retailing from Rs. 3.99 lakhs (ex-showroom). The features on offer include rear door child lock, engine immobiliser, high speed alert, front seat belts pre-tensioner and force limiter, dual front airbags, and ABS with EBD.

Further, the Heartect platform chassis, reverse parking sensors, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder, headlamp leveler, high-mount stop lamp, collapsible steering column, digital speedometer, and cabin air filter are part of the package.

The wheel covers are part of VXI and VXI Plus

The STD trim also includes remote back door and fuel lid openers, centre cap in steel wheels, driver and co-driver sun visor and assist grips, front console utility space, and 1-litre bottle holder in front doors with map pockets.

LXI:

The mid-level LXI trim gets all the features of the STD trim mentioned above. On top of that, it further gets air conditioner with heater, power steering, and body-coloured bumpers. For these 3 additional features, you need to shell out Rs. 83,000/- extra money over the STD.

VXI:

The second mid-level VXI trim gets all the features of the STD and LXI mentioned above. Over these, it gets speed sensing auto door lock, central locking, impact sensing door unlock, and rear seat belt Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR).

Further, SmartPlay Dock with Bluetooth, USB and AUX ports, dual speakers, distance-to-empty, average and instantaneous fuel consumption readings, gearshift indicator on manual variant, and gear position indicator on AGS variant are part of the package.

The VXI also includes low fuel and door ajar warnings on the SmartPlay Dock, key off / headlamp on reminder, front power windows, internally adjustable ORVMs, accessory socket, roof antenna, body-coloured outside door handles, full wheel covers, and rear assist grips.

The Silver accents are present only on VXI Plus

For these additional features, you need to shell out Rs. 17,500/- extra money over the LXI. The price increment from STD is Rs. 1,00,500/-.

VXI Plus:

The VXI Plus is the top-end trim and it gets all the features of the other 3 trims. On top of that, it gets 7-inch Smart Play Studio touchscreen infotainment system with remote application, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.

Further, it gets 4 speakers, steering-mounted audio and voice controls, remote keyless entry, rear parcel tray, Silver accents on inside door handles, steering wheel, side louvers, and centre garnish.

The company is charging Rs. 34,000/- extra for these additional set of features. The price increment from STD and LXI is Rs. 1,34,500/- and Rs. 51,500/- respectively.

AGS:

Maruti Suzuki is charging a standard Rs. 50,000/- for the Auto Gear Shift (AGS) automatic transmission. But, it can be had only on the VXI and VXI Plus trims.
