Maruti Suzuki will launch the Kizashi on the 28th of January, 2011. This will be the company’s first foray into the D-segment market which has been dominated by the likes of Honda and Skoda. The Maruti Kizashi will be priced around Rs. 16 lakhs and will be powered by a 2.4-liter DOHC inline four-cylinder engine producing 185 bhp of power at 6500 Rpm and 235Nm of torque at 4000rpm. The Kizashi features All Wheel Drive, 18-inch alloy wheels, Electronic Stability Program, 8-airbags, optional Rockford Fosgate 425 watts speakers and 6-speed Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The Kizashi might not feature the Maruti badge at all and will be branded as a Suzuki only.
