Maruti Jimny available with hefty discounts for the month of July 2024
Maruti Suzuki is offering significant discounts on the Jimny in July 2024, with potential savings reaching up to Rs. 2.85 lakhs depending on the dealer and purchasing method. This move by India’s largest carmaker aims to attract more buyers to its off-road focused SUV.
The Jimny, which debuted in India last year as a five-door variant of Suzuki’s iconic three-door off-roader, is currently available with flat cash benefits up to Rs. 1 lakh. Additionally, customers opting for Maruti Suzuki India Limited (MSIL)’s financial services can receive further benefits worth up to Rs. 1.50 lakhs, varying by variant. Some dealers are also providing extra incentives, such as discounts on insurance, which could increase the total benefits to as much as Rs. 2.85 lakhs.
These discounts apply to both manual and automatic versions of the Jimny, available in two variants: Zeta and Alpha. The SUV is powered by a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine, also found in the Maruti Ciaz, which delivers 101 BHP and 134 Nm of peak torque. The transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 4-speed automatic, both featuring shift-on-the-fly four-wheel drive with a low range.
The Jimny’s introduction in the Indian market marked the global debut of its five-door version, catering to consumers seeking a robust off-road vehicle with additional practicality. The substantial discounts offered this month make it a more attractive option for potential buyers looking for a capable SUV.
