Maruti launches the limited edition of Ignis that comes with cosmetic tweaks and new features.
During the festive season, the dealers and manufacturers give a lot of attractive offers on their new and old products. But this time it is India’s favourite manufacturer, Maruti, which has launched a limited edition of the Ignis. This edition is based on the Delta variant of the standard Ignis.
The limited edition Ignis is updated cosmetically and there are no changes in the mechanical front. On the exterior front, there is side door cladding with ‘Ignis’ branding along with side skirts and front & rear skid plates. This body kit gives the limited edition Ignis a rugged look. It is also equipped with a tailgate mounted spoiler. The interior gets faux leather upholstery and premium floor mats.
The limited edition will only be available in 1.2-litre petrol variant as the diesel Ignis has already been discontinued. The 1.2-litre petrol engine produces 83 BHP and 113 Nm. There is both manual and AMT transmission on offer with the limited edition. However, the company has not revealed the prices officially but expect it to cost a little more than the standard Delta variant. There are accessories worth Rs. 45,000/- in the Ignis limited edition.
