Maruti Suzuki has come up with yet another limited edition, this time the Ertiga Paseo Explore Edition. It comes with some additional features.
The king of limited editions, Maruti Suzuki has just launched the Ertiga Paseo Explore limited edition. This edition is based on the VXi and VDi trims and comes with certain useful equipment add-ons apart from the usual graphics which the folks at Maruti Suzuki really love. The limited edition does not feature any changes when it comes to mechanicals. Maruti is also celebrating 2 lakh sales of the MPV ever since it was launched in 2012. Here is a list of the additions that the Ertiga Paseo Explore edition gets –
* Body decals
* Blackened out pillars
* Rear spoiler
* Seat covers
* Cool/Warm box
* Bluetooth hands-free
* Multi-device charger
* Steering wheel cover
* Storage compartment
* Door sill plates
* Redesigned mats
* Pillows
* Digital tyre inflator
* Rear parking sensors
Maruti Suzuki had earlier launched a limited edition of the vehicle way back in July 2014 to celebrate 1.5 lakh sales. We all know that the company is readying the facelift version of the Ertiga which is said to make its official debut at Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show on 20th August. The launch time frame of the Ertiga facelift in the Indian market is not yet known but it will happen soon after its global unveil. There is a possibility that Maruti is trying to clear its stock by launching such editions.
The Maruti Ertiga is powered by a 1.4-litre petrol engine and a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel engine. Both the engines are mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and no automatic is offered. The MPV is also available with a CNG option which is preferred by a lot of buyers thanks to the cheap running costs. The Ertiga sells in good numbers each month and remains unfazed by competition like the Honda Mobilio and Renault Lodgy. The MPV is priced between Rs. 5.99 to 8.72 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
