Maruti Dzire is getting a mid-life facelift very soon with a new engine.
The Maruti Dzire is India’s highest selling compact sedan and one of the best selling cars in the country. It is now due for its mid-life update which is expected to be launched later this month.
The Dzire facelift will come with updated styling including new grille, bumper, alloy wheels, tail lights and rear bumper. We can expect some new colours on offer too with the facelift.
The interiors will remain more or less the same but there will be a new SmartPlay Studio infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto which we have seen in the latest models of Maruti.
The biggest change will be under the hood. The updated Maruti Dzire will get a new 1.2-litre K12C DualJet BS6 petrol engine that will offer more power of 90 HP, which means 7 HP more than the pre-facelift model.
This engine won’t come with SHVS Smart Hybrid tech to keep the pricing in check. It will be offered with 5-speed MT and AMT options.
