Maruti Dzire CNG price announced, available in two variants
Maruti Dzire CNG is finally here with a starting price of Rs. 8.14 lakhs (all prices, ex-showroom). It is available in two trims – VXI and ZXI. The ZXI trim is priced at Rs. 8.82 lakhs.
Maruti claims it is the most fuel efficient and most powerful CNG sedan in India. It gets the same 1.2-litre K-Series petrol engine which delivers 77.5 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 98.5 Nm of torque at 4300 RPM in CNG mode. It returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 31.12 km/kg.
In petrol only mode, the engine delivers 90 PS at 6000 RPM and 113 Nm torque at 4400 RPM. The engine is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission.
The Maruti Dzire S-CNG can also be had with an all-inclusive monthly subscription fee starting from Rs. 16,999/-.
The S-CNG comes with dual interdependent Electronic Control Units (ECU) and intelligent injection system to provide optimum air-fuel ratio.
Maruti also offers CNG with Alto, Celerio, Wagon R, S-Presso, Eeco and S-Presso. They plan to offer CNG with Nexa lineup as well in the near future. The Dzire CNG will compete with the Tata Tigor CNG.
