Maruti Suzuki Concept Future S Unveiled At 2018 Auto Expo

Maruti Suzuki Concept Future S makes its first global appearance at the 2018 Auto Expo.

With a lot of exciting offerings lined up for Asia’s biggest motor show, Maruti Suzuki has started off with the global debut of their first concept vehicle designed completely in-house. The Maruti Suzuki Concept Future S also puts forth the company’s future design language and features an aggressive upright stance in a small blueprint. The compact car concept gets a bright orange body colour with glossy pearl white accents on the A-pillar and around the lower part of the body lending a sporty touch.

Flaunting its high ground clearance, the concept showcases a sculpted exterior with powerful shoulder lines, prominent wheel arches and a wide bonnet. The faux skid plates are finished in bright silver to accentuate the SUV character with the sleek twin beam headlights on extreme ends adding modern flair to the powerful stance. The same theme is carried on to the interior as well.

On the inside, the Concept Future S gets an ivory white wraparound cabin to give a spacious ambience with careful use of orange accents on the instrument panel, door trims, seats and steering wheel to break the monotony of a single shade. There’s also a pearl white strip running across the dashboard and A-pillar. Dipped in carbon texture, the centre console houses a Human Machine Interface (HMI) in a spherical outlay.

The vehicle is in concept stage and will take some time before it graduates to a production-ready form. From the concept, it becomes clear that the Japanese automaker is targeting the younger audience with impressive and bold styling similar to what Renault did with the Kwid. The production-spec car built on the Maruti Suzuki Concept Future S will be a replacement to the popular Alto.
