Maruti Celerio Tour H2 launched in India at a price of Rs. 4.21 lakhs, for cab aggregators.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Celerio Tour H2 with a sticker price of Rs. 4.21 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The hatchback is primarily aimed at cab aggregators and is based on the LXi (O) trim of the Celerio.
Like the Dzire Tour S, the Celerio Tour H2 also comes with a factory-fitted speed-limiting device as standard. The top speed is limited to 80 km/hr. Based on the recently revised Indian government regulations, taxis/cabs have to be equipped with a speed limiting device to help curb the number of road accidents on Indian roads.
Coming to the Maruti Celerio Tour H2, it is powered by the same 1.0-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine as the regular petrol-powered Celerio. Mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox, the 1.0-litre motor develops 67 HP of power and 90 Nm of torque. Like the regular Celerio LXi (O) trim, the Tour H2 also gets driver side airbag, body-coloured bumpers, steel wheels without wheel caps and black finished door handles and ORVMs.
Along with the introduction of the Celerio Tour H2, the automaker has also rebadged the Eeco taxi version as Tour V (read Tour 5).
