Maruti Suzuki will be giving the Brezza a new engine as the K15B has served its purpose
The upcoming Maruti Brezza is set to be powered by a new petrol engine that will debut in the soon-to-be launched facelifted Ertiga.
Code-named K15C, the new Dual Jet 1.5-litre motor is expected to enable the compact SUV to boast a better fuel economy figure than its predecessor.
What’s more, the new Maruti Brezza engine will also be more powerful and it can be teamed to either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic. A CNG version is also expected to arrive later.
Apart from a new engine and automatic gearbox (paddle shifters will be present too), the upcoming Brezza will come with an electric sunroof, a 9.0-inch touchscreen for the SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment, head-up display, 360-degree camera, and more.
It is well-known that the Vitara Brezza has a Global NCAP rating of 4 stars (out of 5) for adult occupant protection and and 2 stars for child occupant protection.
The new Brezza, is expected to do better when it comes to safeguarding its passengers during an accident. Maruti is likely to equip the car, that is expected to be launched within this quarter, with 6 airbags as standard, among several other safety features.
