Maruti Brezza CNG launched, price announced
Maruti Brezza CNG launched with a starting price of Rs. 9.14 lakhs (ex-showroom). This is the latest model in Maruti Suzuki’s lineup to get S-CNG and it comes in three variants – LXi, VXi and ZXi.
With this new CNG model, Maruti Suzuki now has 14 models on offer with factory-fitted CNG option. Since they have stopped offering diesel engines 2020 onwards, they are providing this alternate fuel option to their customers.
It is powered by the same K15C 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine producing 100 PS at 6000 RPM and 136 Nm at 4400 RPM in petrol mode. The CNG mode produces 87.8 PS at 5500 RPM and 121.5 Nm at 4200 RPM. It comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission option only.
Maruti Suzuki claims fuel efficiency of 25.51 km/kg with the Brezza CNG. The compact SUV comes with features including Electric Sunroof, Cruise Control, SmartPlay Pro Infotainment System with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Keyless Push Start, etc.
