The limited edition Maruti Alto K10 Urbano comes with 18 new features and spruced up exteriors that make it more desirable.
Maruti has started rolling out special edition models for the festive season, something they do every year to boost interest and sales of their cars. After the sporty looking Swift Glory edition, the carmaker has now launched the Alto K10 Urbano edition with some additional features and exterior upgrades. The limited edition model is available in LX, LXi, VXi and VXi (O) trims, including CNG.
On the exterior front, the Maruti Alto K10 Urbano comes with new body graphics and chrome garnishing on the front fog lamps, wheel arches, ORVMs, tail gate, headlamps and tail lamps. Coming to the interiors, the limited edition gets new leatherette black seat covers, steering wheel cover and similar themed pedals and floor mats. Most of these add-ons can be opted for at the aftermarket level but by offering the same in a limited edition model, Maruti is making it easier for customers to accessorise their cars.
Some of the additional features include LED door sills, ambient lighting, fast charging USB ports, rear parking sensors and Bluetooth kit. The Bluetooth kit actually consists of a steering mounted device with controls to operate your phone via Bluetooth that also streams calls and music. The Alto K10 Urbano comes with 18 new features according to Maruti at an additional price of Rs. 16,990/- and is also being offered with a special 90% funding on MGA package.
The Maruti Alto K10 is a peppy car to drive thanks to the 998cc K-Next petrol engine that produces 68 PS of power at 6000 RPM and 90 Nm of torque at 3500 RPM, mated to 5-speed manual and AMT transmission. The Alto K10 returns a claimed fuel efficiency of 24.07 km/l. It also comes with the option of a factory fitted CNG kit that returns a claimed fuel economy of 32.26 km/kg. The Alto is the current highest selling car in the country and comes with a starting price of Rs. 3.20 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
