Mahindra XUV700 Personalised Safety Alerts feature teased in the latest video.
Mahindra has started teasing the upcoming and much awaited XUV700 with a series of videos and the latest one teases the new safety alerts feature.
The Indian carmaker started off the teaser campaign with the Auto Booster Headlamps feature that increases the range of the lights when the speed exceeds 80 km/hr.
The second teaser video was about the panoramic sunroof, Mahindra calls it the ‘Skyroof’. They claim it to be the largest in its class.
Now the latest video reveals some interesting details about their new Personalised Safety Alerts feature. When the car is overspeeding, you’ll get an alert in your loved one’s voice. The car will let you customise the speed alert warning. Quite a bizarre feature to have! Let’s see how it works.
Due to the supply chain issues and production constraints the Mahindra XUV700 launch was delayed almost by a year. The teasers confirm the “debut” of the SUV in 2021. Remember the Mahindra Thar launch? It made its “debut” in August followed by the price announcement in October and eventually the deliveries commenced in November with limited units for sale.
The Mahindra flagship will be offered with a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The petrol unit is rumoured to make a maximum of 200 HP while the diesel will produce 185 HP. It will be offered with manual and automatic transmission options along with optional AWD system.
