Like most modern cars, the soon-to-be unveiled Mahindra XUV700 will also come with LED lights
Mahindra has released yet another teaser video of the XUV700, this time about the car’s lights which are LED units.
The Indian carmaker calls the headlamps of the upcoming SUV ‘Clear-View’ LEDs and the tail lights are named ‘arrow-head’ LEDs and both look modern. However, it must be said that the tail lamps are rather large, and to some eyes, may seem gaudy.
While the headlights are sized appropriately, the J-shaped DRLs/indicators are pretty sizeable too and there is only a small space in the bumper between them and the fog lights.
While this new teaser video only shows the LED lights of the Mahindra XUV700, the entire car was spied undisguised recently and the design of the vehicle has, to put it mildly, split opinions among car enthusiasts.
However, the SUVs interior has not received any such flak. Although the complete interior has not been revealed yet, Mahindra did give a sneak peek of the car’s dashboard through its last teaser video which centered on its AdrenoX system.
The Tata Safari rival should be unveiled soon and it is expected to be the segment leader when it comes to the number of features offered, some of which have already been revealed like the sunroof (which Mahindra calls the ‘Skyroof’), personalised safety alerts and driver drowsiness detection system.
The SUV is likely to come in 5-, 6- and 7-seater layouts and buyers will be able to choose between a 2.0-litre turbo petrol and 2.2-litre diesel engines, both of can be had with either a 6-speed manual or an automatic gearbox.
