The Mahindra XUV700 is set to be offered in different colours and we had to see how it might look in some of them
When images of a production-spec Mahindra XUV700 painted in brown colour surfaced online, we had to try and see how the car looks like in other shades.
These images are the result of that and we have envisaged the upcoming SUV in 4 colour choices and they are – Black, Blue, Maroon and White.
Of all the colour options, the Mahindra XUV700 looks stellar in white, since the black bits like the grille, wheel arch cladding and blacked pillars around the windows provide nice contrast.
That is not to say that other colours do not suit the SUV. It particularly looks good in murdered out form, in which the lights and chrome elements pop much better, too.
Similarly, when Maroon is imagined to be the Mahindra XUV700 colour, it transforms the vehicle’s look. We would not go as far as calling it classy, but darker shades do seem to suit the car well.
Sticking with darker colours, the 3-row SUV has also been imagined in a shade of Dark Blue, which displays the most pronounced creases, while masking little intricate ones well.
Do note that we’ve made use of Mahindra’s existing emblem for the time being, since it is not yet known how the finalised new logo chosen by the carmaker looks like.
Mahindra has been releasing teaser videos of the XUV700 frequently, showing to the world the features the SUV will come equipped with, the most recent of which was about the LED lighting units.
The Tata Safari and MG Hector Plus rival will be unveiled soon and launched in the months thereafter.
