Mahindra has launched the XUV500 W9 in India, priced at Rs. 15.45 lakhs.
Mahindra has added a new W9 variant to the XUV500. The Mahindra XUV500 W9 is priced at Rs. 15.45 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). With the addition of the W9 trim, the SUV is now available in 5 trims – W4, W6, W8, W9 and W10. The W8, W9 and W10 variants are also available with an automatic transmission.
The W9 variant gets a host of features from the range-topping W10 grade like static bending projector headlamps with LED DRLs, tyre-tronics TPMS system, electric sunroof with anti-pinch, passive keyless entry, push-button start, 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto compatibility, reverse camera with Dynamic Assist, Ecosense technology, Emergency Call, dual airbags, ABS with EBD and ESP with Rollover Mitigation.
The Mahindra XUV500 W9 comes powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine that churns out 140 HP of power and 330 Nm of torque. This oil-burner unit is available with a choice of either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Mahindra XUV500 rivals the Tata Hexa, Jeep Compass and Hyundai Tucson.
