The Mahindra XUV300 has scored an impressive 5-star rating in the latest crash test results.
This is great news for the Indian car market as the homegrown carmakers are achieving full 5-star safety rating of late at Global NCAP crash tests. The latest one after the Tata Altroz is the Mahindra XUV300.
The Mahindra XUV300, which is based on the SsangYong Tivoli has scored an impressive 5-star rating with the highest combined result at Global NCAP. The XUV300 has managed to score 16.42 out of 17 for adult occupant protection and 37.44 out of 49 for child occupant protection. This score is higher than the Tata Nexon and Tata Altroz.
The bodyshell integrity of the Mahindra XUV300 has been rated as stable. The car has been tested at a speed of 64 km/hr. The test car was equipped with dual front airbags, 4 channel ABS, seatbelt pretensioners and ISOFIX anchorages.
