Mahindra XUV300 facelift in the pipeline, test mule spotted
Mahindra is planning to launch yet another XUV300 facelift soon but this time around it is a comprehensive update. Few days back we posted the photos of the same test mule which looked like an all-new car with smaller proportions but it is the XUV300 with some substantial changes.
The Indian UV maker will lend the XUV300 an all-new design direction with sheet metal changes on the car and not just a mere facelift with soft part updates.
The front profile looks inspired by the Mahindra BEV concepts that were showcased a few months back. It will get a new bonnet design, newly styled headlights with DRLs, new bumper design and a revised grille up front.
We expect the alloy wheels to be changed as well. The rear end will come with new tail light design as you can see from the cutouts which is quite different. The tailgate and rear bumper will also get a new look.
Since they will make comprehensive exterior changes, we can expect similar enhancements inside with a new dashboard design, new upholstery colour tones and more features as well.
It will continue with the current engine options – 1.2-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel. Mahindra might update with XUV400 as well at a later stage with these design changes.
The facelifted XUV300 is expected to launch sometime in 2024 and it will compete with the likes of Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Kia Sonet, etc.
