Mahindra XUV 3XO is the new nomenclature for XUV300 lineup
Mahindra XUV 3XO teased officially, global debut scheduled for 29th April. The carmaker has been testing the heavily updated version of the XUV300 which will get substantial changes on the exterior and interior along with some new features on offer.
We have been spotting multiple test mules of the XUV 3XO across the country. It comes with a new front profile with redesigned LED headlights and DRLs, new grille, new bumpers, new alloy wheels, updated rear profile with connected LED tail lamps and new colour options. The compact SUV has been teased in a bright yellow colour. It gets black cladding on the lower half of the body to make it look rugged.
The interior is also expected to get substantial tweaks including new dashboard with a large touchscreen infotainment system, all digital instrument cluster and more premium features on offer.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO will be powered by a 1.5-litre diesel engine that produces 117 PS and 300 Nm torque along with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol TCMPFi engine producing 110 PS and 200 Nm torque and the more powerful 1.2-litre turbo petrol TGDi engine producing 130 PS and 230 Nm of torque. All the engines will get 6-speed manual and 6-speed automatic transmission options.
Mahindra will also introduce the EV version of the XUV 3XO later this year. Expected to get rid of the XUV400 name and likely to be called XUV 3XO EV.
Recently, Mahindra trademarked four names that we leaked a few days back – 7XO, 5XO, 3XO and 1XO. Out of these, 3XO has been announced today. We believe they will soon introduce the 700 facelift as 7XO with styling changes and new features. 5XO is likely to be the new SUV Coupe version or a Creta rival. The 1XO is speculated to be the Tata Punch and Hyundai Exter rivalling micro SUV.
