The Mahindra Verito Compact Sedan has been a subject of discussion for a long time in the automotive community with its launch inching closer. Eagle eyed Motorbeam reader and enthusiast, Mr. Ram Shankar from Chennai has sent us photographs of a Verito Compact Sedan he caught testing in Ambattur Chennai. The photos give us a fair idea of how the production Verito CS will look. The car was being tested with lot of equipment attached on the dashboard for logging vital data.
These pictures of the sub 4-metre Mahindra Verito compact sedan tell us how exactly the vehicle will look. The front end remains largely unchanged and all the modifications have been done at the rear to make the car measure less than 4-metres in length as well as to give it a different identity. The rear fixed windscreen looks more sloping with what seems like vertical tail lamps on each side continuing from the roof rails on the top to the conventional tail lamps on the boot lid.
The Mahindra Verito compact sedan seen here might be the top end version and is equipped with alloy wheels, fog lamps and roof rails. In the interior department everything seems to be carried over from the standard Verito, but a music system seems missing. The sub 4-metre compact sedan market in India is on a roll. The highly awaited Verito compact sedan being spotted testing in the open is a sign the launch is around the corner. The Verito CS will rub shoulders with the Indigo CS.
