The dashboard of the upcoming Mahindra TUV300 Plus has been spied, is similar to the TUV300.
We are all aware that Mahindra is working on a longer wheelbase version of the TUV300, likely to be christened TUV300 Plus. Mahindra is expected to launch the vehicle in November this year. MotorBeam reader Srinath Kumar spotted the car on test rounds and clicked the pictures for us.
The SUV has been spotted multiple times previously but this time we have the pictures of the dashboard surfacing. The styling of the dashboard looks very similar to the TUV300. The centre console, touchscreen infotainment system, steering wheel and instrument cluster are all identical to the TUV300.
The spotted test mule we believe is a base variant courtesy the steel wheels it sported, however, it also features LED DRLs. The pamphlets stuck on the SUV also reveal that the spotted test mule is a 2WD non-ABS variant which means that there could also be a 4WD variant made available.
It still isn’t clear as to what engines will power the TUV300 Pls. It could be powered by the same 1.5-litre diesel engine that powers the TUV300. Mahindra could also plonk the 1.99-litre (as per the sticker on the rear windscreen) or 2.2-litre diesel engines on the TUV300 Plus. The vehicle will get a 5-speed manual transmission and an automatic gearbox will also be offered.
The key USP of the TUV300 Plus will be the proper front facing third-row seats. The MPV is expected to come with features like folding second and third-row seats and rear AC vents.
