Mahindra Thar Roxx officially teased again, revealing new exterior details
The Mahindra Thar Roxx is all set to launch on the Independence Day, 15th August. The expectations from the 5-door Thar are high, since it will offer a more practical package with premium looks and spacious interior with more features. The Indian UV maker has teased the new SUV yet again, calling it ‘THE’ SUV.
The TVC showcases the Thar Roxx on the roads of Leh Ladakh. Compared to the 3-door Thar, it will get a unique front fascia with LED headlights having circular LED DRLs outlining the lights. It will also come with a unique grille design to differentiate the two.
The bumper has been updated as well and so is the alloy wheel design, which looks larger in size and more premium with dual tone finish. The door handles for the rear doors are mounted on the C-pillar. The tail lights come with LED detailing.
Mahindra has not teased the interior of the Thar Roxx yet but some of the spy shots have revealed a dual tone dashboard with black and brown treatment, bigger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, new digital instrument cluster and more premium features on offer borrowed from the Scorpio N and XUV700.
Some of the features will include electrically adjustable front seats, ventilated front seats, 9-speaker Harman-Kardon audio system, Level 2 ADAS suite for the range topping models and more.
The Mahindra Thar Roxx will be available with the same engine options including the 2.0-litre mStallion turbo petrol engine and the 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. Both the engines will be offered with a choice of either a 6-speed manual transmission or a 6-speed automatic transmission. It will also come with 4×4 and 4×2 variant options.
