Mahindra cuts prices on select XUV700 AX7 & AX7 L variants by up to Rs. 75,000/-
Mahindra has announced a price reduction on specific variants of its popular XUV700 SUV, making the higher-end AX7 and AX7 L trims more accessible to buyers. The price cuts apply to both turbo-petrol and diesel automatic versions, with reductions going up to Rs. 75,000.
The diesel-powered AX7 automatic variants — available in both 6- and 7-seater configurations, including the all-wheel-drive option — now cost Rs. 45,000 less. Meanwhile, the top-spec AX7 L diesel automatic trims (excluding the recently introduced Ebony Edition) receive the most significant cut of Rs. 75,000.
On the petrol side, four automatic variants of the 2.0-litre turbo-petrol AX7 and AX7 L trims also see a similar reduction — Rs. 45,000 off on AX7 variants and Rs. 75,000 off on AX7 L versions. Notably, there are no price revisions for the manual transmission variants in either fuel option.
The XUV700’s diesel engine delivers 185 HP and 420 Nm of torque with the 6-speed manual, while the 6-speed automatic transmission boosts torque to 450 Nm. The turbo-petrol variant offers 200 HP and 380 Nm, available with both manual and automatic gearboxes.
It’s important to highlight that the Ebony Edition, which is based on the AX7 and AX7 L trims and launched recently, does not benefit from the current price adjustments. Additionally, Mahindra has indicated a price hike of up to 3% across its entire lineup from next month, meaning this could be a limited-time opportunity for buyers looking to purchase the XUV700.
The company has also confirmed that no further changes are expected to the XUV700 range this year, with the Ebony Edition being the final update ahead of a planned mid-cycle refresh in the future.
