Mahindra has launched the S9 variant of the Scorpio.
Indian SUV giant, Mahindra has launched the Scorpio S9 variant and this variant is packed with a lot of features and it has been priced competitively.
This S9 variant of the Scorpio features static-bending projector headlamps, LED light guides, micro-hybrid technology, anti-roll technology and hydraulic assist bonnet. It also gets 6-inch touchscreen infotainment system with voice assist and GPS navigation.
In terms of safety, the car comes with dual-front airbags, ABS, Anti-theft warning, panic brake indication and engine immobiliser. The intellipark system and cruise control are some of the driver comfort features of the SUV.
Powering the Mahindra Scorpio is a 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine that churns out 140 BHP and 320 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Mechanically the S9 trim is the same as the other trims. In the present market, the Scorpio directly rivals the Tata Safari Storme. Mahindra has priced the Scorpio S9 at Rs. 13.99 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
