The interiors of the the upcoming Mahindra Scorpio N have been revealed officially for the first time
Mahindra has officially revealed the interiors of the upcoming Scorpio N slated for launch on 27th June. The interiors looks fresh and eye catchy with a lot of headroom on offer further accentuated by the sunroof and roof mounted speakers.
The SUV’s infotainment system and instrument cluster get AdrenoX connected car AI technology from Bosch India to deliver seamless connectivity and enhanced user experience. The various connectivity features of AdrenoX can be accessed on both the mobile app and smart watches.
One of the SUVs showcased in the teaser is the automatic version and it gets a premium chrome dial as the drive mode selector with the 4×4’s 4H and 4L buttons placed nearby. The SUV officially gets Sony speakers.
The captain seats are, indeed, a class apart. They have massively thick cushions with huge side bolstering and under-thigh support for safe and tireless long hauls. The seat covers finished in pale brown look like they are made of genuine leather with an amazing texture and feel.
Though they lack modern bits like coloured stitching and quilted patterns, the presence of adjustable headrests on all the rows is a big thumbs up. The front seats have magazine holders at the back which, again, is a nice touch.
The captain seats get dedicated arm rests. The driver seat arm rest also doubles up as the housing for the rear AC vents. There’s a mobile charging port near the rear AC vents too. Surprisingly, there’s enough legroom at the third row.
The manufacturer says, the latest Scorpio has got the best-in-class command seating and the SUV will carry forward the legacy of the existing Scorpio which is known for offering a commanding view of the road.
The tall seating enables drivers to notice the what’s ahead in detail and could even help prevent accidents. At least emotionally such a seating position will provide a sense of safety for both the driver and the passengers.
Mahindra has already claimed that the upcoming Scorpio will make even the crash dummy feel safe which means the manufacturer is aiming for 5 stars in the Global NCAP crash tests.
