Mahindra launches the Scorpio N Carbon Edition with an all-black theme
Mahindra Scorpio N Carbon Edition launched with prices starting at Rs. 19.19 lakhs (ex-showroom). This new edition is exclusively available with the top-tier Z8 and Z8L trims, offering a distinctive all-black theme for an additional Rs. 20,000/- over the standard variants.
Exterior and Interior Enhancements
The Scorpio N Carbon Edition stands out with its stealthy aesthetic, featuring a blacked-out treatment across the exterior. Chrome elements, such as the door handles and window surrounds, have been replaced with glossy black finishes. The 18-inch alloy wheels and roof rails also follow the same dark theme. This edition is offered exclusively in a single paint option called Stealth Black.
Inside, the cabin continues the blacked-out theme. The dashboard, leatherette seats, roof liner and door trims all adopt a pitch-black finish. The Carbon Edition retains the seven-seat layout and carries forward the feature set of the standard Z8 and Z8L trims. This includes an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, sunroof, multiple drive modes, dual-zone climate control, a 12-speaker sound system and six airbags.
Powertrain Options
Under the hood, the Carbon Edition retains the existing powertrain options of the Scorpio N. Buyers can choose between a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 203 HP and a 2.2-litre diesel engine generating 175 HP. Both engines are available with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. Notably, the 4WD option is exclusive to the diesel variants.
Pricing
The Scorpio N Carbon Edition is priced between Rs. 19.19 lakhs and Rs. 28.89 lakhs, depending on the chosen trim, powertrain and transmission. It competes with the likes of Tata Safari and Harrier Dark Editions.
