Mahindra Reva has been working profusely to better its e2o electric vehicle with new technologies, better kilometre range, better drivability and certainly more affordability. Keeping up with its promise, the electric automaker has launched the new Premium variant of the e2o that features an extended range of 120 kms and electric power steering. The automaker over the last few months also launched several other initiatives including the battery rental scheme and the Quick2Charge function to provide hassle free ownership to customers.
The Mahindra e2o Premium variant now comes with an extended range of 120 kms, while the base variant comes with a range of 80 kms. The new Premium variant also has a higher top speed of 81 km/hr, while the base variant has a top speed of 75 km/hr. However, the Premium variant takes 5 hours to completely charge, one hour more than the base variant. Nonetheless, you do get the Premium version equipped with plenty of features including infotainment system, driver information system, reverse parking camera and assist.
The new Mahindra e2o Premium variant also offers upgrades on the interiors and exteriors to the customers, for a more desirable and contemporary look. The automaker is offering the e2o Premium with the battery rental scheme service and will be available at Rs. 5.72 lakhs (on-road, Delhi) with a monthly rental charge of Rs. 2999/- for the batteries that allows the customer to drive 50,000 kms over a period of 5 years. Incidentally, the Mahindra e2o’s website no more shows the top-end Quick2Charge equipped variant that was available until last month.
