Mahindra Mojo XT300 blue colour launched in India, price unchanged.
The Mahindra Mojo XT300 has been launched in a new dual-tone Ocean Blue (blue with white) paint scheme. Price for the new colour variant remains the same as before, i.e. Rs. 1.79 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Interestingly, the website lists only two colours – Ocean Blue and Volcano Red. The black colour has not been discontinued but will be rolled as per customer demand.
The Ocean Blue colour variant gets a white finishing on the visor, fuel tank, engine cowl and the side panels. The vehicle gets no other mechanical and cosmetic changes. It still comes powered by the same 295cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor with fuel injection. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox, the powertrain produces the same 27 HP of power and 30 Nm of torque.
Suspension is the same as before. While braking performance comes from the same 320 mm disc and 240 mm disc at the front and rear respectively, ABS is still not offered even as an option. Sales of the Mojo haven’t picked up in spite of the launch of the Mojo UT300 (an affordable version of the XT300). The automaker is hoping that the new colour variant will give the Mojo a much-needed boost in terms of sales.
