The Mahindra Mojo sales have been on a constant decline, even more after Jawa entered the market.
The Mahindra Mojo is a premium motorcycle offering from Mahindra two-wheelers. The motorcycle has premium hardware and a robust engine. But there were many factors for which the sales of the Mojo have never been overwhelming. Mahindra then launched the Mojo UT300 which had a lot of cost cutting done on it to make it more affordable. But the bike wasn’t really attracting buyers and so Mahindra is offering discounts of up to Rs. 75,000/- on the purchase of the Mojo UT300.
The Mojo brand has been getting poor sale numbers since the launch of the iconic Jawa motorcycles in India. Mahindra is offering a flat discount of Rs. 40,000/- on the purchase of the Mojo UT300. Furthermore, you can exchange your old two-wheeler and avail a discount of up to Rs. 60,000/-. Last but not least, a Mahindra employee gets a massive discount of Rs. 75,000/- on the purchase of the Mojo UT300. The offer is on the motorcycles which have been manufactured in the year 2018 and is valid till the 31st of March, 2019.
Mahindra two-wheelers have revealed three Jawa motorcycles last year. The Jawa, Jawa Forty-Two and the Jawa Perak. The Perak is yet to be launched. Currently, the brand is running full capacity at its production plant. They have also stopped accepting bookings as the motorcycles have been sold out till September 2019.
The sales of the Mahindra Mojo fell down when the Jawa motorcycles were introduced in the market last year. Mahindra tried to salvage the Mojo name with the Mojo UT300 variant launch in March 2018. But the UT300 was not able to do any wonders for Mahindra and so the brand has announced for the discount schemes. With the current situation, the Mojo could soon be extinct.
