Mahindra e2o NXT displayed at the 2018 Auto Expo, is a facelifted verison of the e2oPlus.
Along with the eKUV100, Mahindra has also unveiled the e2o NXT at the 2018 Auto Expo. The e2o NXT is a refreshed version of the e2oPlus and gets a whole lot of changes to the exterior and interior.
Starting with the looks, the EV gets a plain-looking front fascia with a huge projector headlamp setup. The headlights also have LED DRLs incorporated into them and get a smoked-effect. At the sides, there are new dual-tone alloy wheels which give the EV some style while the rear gets a brown insert on the tailgate.
The cabin of the e2o NXT is completely new. There is a dual-tone beige and brown dashboard with blue accents in the centre console and the steering wheel. The buttons in the centre console are replaced by a screen. Yes, the cabin houses two screens, one for the infotainment (is larger than before) and aircon functions and one for the instrument cluster. The AC vents also have been redesigned.
Powering the e2o NXT is the same 3-phase AC induction motor that produces 30.5 kW (41 HP) of power and 91 Nm of torque. A Direct Drive automatic transmission sends power to the front wheels. Likely to be launched in the Indian market in the coming months, prices for the e2o NXT are yet to be revealed and expect Mahindra to command to a slight premium over the previous model.
