The Mahindra Bolero Neo has been spotted in Maharashtra when the car was being filmed for an upcoming advertisement and guess what, it is nothing but the TUV300 facelift that we were all expecting the carmaker to launch this year.
Spotted by MotorBeamer Sohail Shaikh in Malshej Ghat, the Bolero Neo (read TUV300 facelift from now on, will you?) which is painted in grey can be seen with the new face that the carmaker was working on for so long.
Sporting a new chrome grille and different air dam section, the Bolero Neo pretty much looks like the TUV300 that was refreshed in 2019, elsewhere, albeit with normal set of tail lights and devoid of roof rails. It rides on some rather bland-looking alloy wheels as well.
While no interior images of the car are available, we expect it to be the same as the TUV300, but there might be more goodies offered now.
Powering the car would be a 1.5-litre motor putting out in the region of 100 HP and 240 Nm and it will come mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
Giving the TUV300, the Bolero’s name tag might a masterstroke or a blunder. But, considering people still prefer the Bolero (over 5000 units were sold in December 2020), such a move might give the Bolero Neo some much needed boost.
With the Mahindra Bolero Neo spotted during the course of an ad shoot, expect the MUV to be launched in the market very soon.
