Mahindra BE6 and XEV 9e top and entry-level variants pricing out
Mahindra has announced the prices for the top-spec variants of its BE 6 and XEV 9e electric SUVs. Both vehicles come with advanced features, multiple battery options and competitive pricing in their respective segments.
Mahindra BE 6: Features, Variants and Pricing
The Mahindra BE 6 will be available in three variants—Pack One, Pack Two and Pack Three. The introductory price for the base model starts at Rs. 18.90 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the fully loaded Pack Three variant is priced at Rs. 26.90 lakhs. Unlike the base model, the Pack Three price is not introductory. Bookings for the top-spec model will open on 14th February, 2025, with deliveries expected in March. The mid-spec Pack Two pricing is yet to be disclosed.
Battery, Range and Charging
The BE 6 comes with two battery options: a 59kWh unit with an ARAI range of 556 km and a 79kWh unit offering 682 km. The smaller battery powers a 231 HP motor, while the larger battery powers a 281 HP motor, both delivering 380 Nm of torque. The Pack One variant features rear-wheel drive (RWD), whereas Pack Two and Pack Three come with all-wheel drive (AWD). The top-spec model accelerates from 0-100 km/hr in just 6.7 seconds.
Charging options include an 11.2kW AC charger that fully charges the 79kWh battery in 8 hours and the 59kWh unit in 6 hours. Alternatively, a 7.3kW charger takes 11.7 hours for the larger battery and 8.7 hours for the smaller one. Both chargers need to be purchased separately. Using a 175kW DC fast charger, the battery charges from 20% to 80% in just 20 minutes. Mahindra is offering a lifetime warranty on the battery for the first owner.
Interior and Features
Inside, the BE 6 boasts a cockpit-like design with dual 12.3-inch floating screens powered by Mahindra Artificial Intelligence Architecture (MAIA). It also features a two-spoke, flat-bottom steering wheel with an illuminated ‘BE’ logo, a panoramic sunroof with integrated lighting, dual-zone climate control and Level 2 ADAS technology. Premium additions like a Dolby Atmos Harman Kardon sound system, 5G connectivity and seven airbags enhance the overall appeal. The SUV will be available in eight colours, including Everest White, Firestorm Orange and Deep Forest.
Mahindra XEV 9e: Features, Variants and Pricing
The Mahindra XEV 9e coupe-SUV, built on the INGLO platform, is a separate offering under the ‘XEV’ sub-brand. Pricing for the base Pack One starts at Rs. 21.90 lakhs (ex-showroom), while the top-spec Pack Three variant is priced at Rs. 30.50 lakhs. The pricing for Pack Two is yet to be revealed. Bookings for the flagship Pack Three variant will also commence on 14th February, with deliveries beginning in early March.
Battery, Range and Charging
Similar to the BE 6, the XEV 9e offers 59kWh and 79kWh battery options, delivering an MIDC range of 542 km and 656 km, respectively. Both battery packs power a rear-axle motor, producing 231 HP for the smaller unit and 286 HP for the larger one, with a torque output of 380 Nm. The 0-100 km/hr sprint takes 6.8 seconds with the 79kWh battery.
Charging times mirror the BE 6’s, with DC fast charging enabling a 20-80% charge in 20 minutes. Standard AC chargers must be bought separately.
Interior and Features
The XEV 9e’s cabin includes a three-screen setup, each measuring 12.3 inches, along with a flat-bottom steering wheel featuring an illuminated ‘Infinity’ logo. Other highlights include wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, push-button start/stop, automatic climate control and ample storage options, including a 665-litre boot and a 150-litre frunk. The SUV is offered in eight colour options, such as Ruby Velvet, Gold Dawn and Nebula Blue.

While the BE 6 caters to buyers looking for an SUV with premium features and AWD capability, the XEV 9e brings a coupe-SUV design with impressive performance and range.
