Mahindra BE 05 spotted testing in heavy camouflage
Mahindra BE 05 testing commences in India as the pre-production prototype has been spotted wearing heavy camouflage. The test mule has been spotted by MotorBeamer Giri Raaja in Chennai.
Considering the fact that this electric vehicle is in its pre-production phase, the styling looks super futuristic. Seems like it belongs to another planet with this aggressive new design language.
It has some sharp cuts and creases across the body and a coupe like silhouette. The roof mounted spoilers look inspired by some fighter jet aero blades. There is a hint of Lamborghini in the styling of the Mahindra BE 05.
It has a unique tail light design which is a sleek line highlighting the rear profile of the car. The tail looks very chunky and aggressive with the sculpted look to it.
While the overall design looks very similar to the concept, you can notice the road worthy elements like the ORVMs and the wheels.
The interior too retains a lot of concept styling bits as you can see in the image shared by Rajesh Jejurikar, Executive Director, Auto & Farm Sectors.
The BE 05 will be based on the new INGLO platform. Driving range of this electric car is expected to be around 450 km on full charge.
The Indian carmaker is preparing to launch the production version of this EV by 2025.
