Ace footballer Lionel Messi has been roped in to promote the Tata Kite and this behind the scene video shows how the entire association took place.
Tata Motors recently created a huge wave of buzz when they announced that they have signed Lionel Messi as the new brand ambassador for the upcoming Kite hatchback. The automaker has recently released a video on their YouTube channel showcasing how did they plan out their association with the footballer and why did they think that he will bring value to their brand.
The video also shows how the association took a lot of planning and executing it was quite an interesting task for the automaker as well as all the other entities involved. The company is on a transformation spree and hence they were looking for someone who would resonate their ideas and also connect with the youth alike. Lionel Messi was quoted saying that Tata Motors works with passion and ambition and these are some of the qualities that even he possesses.
Tata Motors is all geared up to launch the new vehicle and has a lot of hopes riding on it. The Kite will have new styling elements and hopefully it will carry a fresh design which will look appealing. The interiors will also boast of good quality materials. It will be positioned below the Bolt and will compete with the likes of the Maruti Celerio, Hyundai i10, Chevrolet Beat, etc.
Under the hood, the Kite will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol engine which is also the same Revotron unit that powers the Bolt and Zest. The vehicle will also get an all new 1.05-litre diesel engine developed in-house by Tata Motors. The Kite will be launched in the next couple of month while we can expect the company to release more promotional features about the vehicle in the coming weeks.
