15 limited edition RE Classic 500 launched in India, priced at Rs. 1.90 lakhs.
Royal Enfield has announced an online sale of 15 limited edition Stealth Black Classic 500 motorcycles that were a part of the NSG (National Security Guards) Expedition 2017. These motorcycles will be sold at a special price of Rs. 1,90,000/-. The sale will go ‘live’ on 13th December with a format of ‘first-come-first-serve’ basis.
Interested folks need to register on the company’s website prior to the sale date (ie 13th Dec) and select the motorcycle they wish to purchase. Post registration, you will be given a unique code which allows you to participate in the sale. Finally, on the sale day, you will have to login to the website and proceed to make a payment of Rs. 15,000/- to book the motorcycle of your choice.
The limited edition Classic 500 motorcycle will feature special insignia commemorative of the ride and the journey undertaken by the commandos across India, giving prospective owners a chance to be a part of history. Royal Enfield says the entire proceeds from the sale of these 15 motorcycles will go to a non-profit initiative supported by NSG for differently abled children, called Prerna.
The 15 Stealth Black Classic 500 motorcycles were part of NSG’s 40-day motorcycle expedition, aimed at spreading awareness about fighting terrorism and serving the nation. Flagged off on 7th September 2017, commemorating NSG’s 33 years of service to the nation, the motorcycles have covered over 8000 kms across the length and breadth of India.
