Lexus NX 350h Overtrail gets exclusive colour scheme and more features
Lexus India has recently introduced a new variant to its NX 350h lineup with the launch of the Overtrail edition, priced at Rs. 71.17 lakh (ex-showroom). This edition aims to cater to outdoor enthusiasts with its rugged design elements and minor updates.
The distinguishing feature of the NX 350h Overtrail edition is its exclusive paint shade called ‘Moon Desert’. Complementing this unique colour are blacked-out exterior elements such as the grille, wing mirrors, door handles and roof rails. Additionally, the SUV sports a new set of 18-inch matte black alloys paired with chunkier 235/60-section tyres, aimed at enhancing its off-road capabilities and performance on uneven terrain.
Inside the cabin, the NX 350h boasts a synthetic black leather interior with earthy-coloured accents on trim pieces, lending a premium feel to the ambiance. Noteworthy features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel with heating function, electrically adjustable seats, ventilated front seats, powered tailgate and a Mark Levinson 17-speaker audio system. Furthermore, the SUV comes equipped with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS).
It also comes with connected car technology, which includes features like DCM (Data Communication Module) and connected services providing access to Safety, Connect (E-Call, Stolen Vehicle Tracking, Remote Immobilisation, Driver Alert, Find my Car), Service Connect (Service History, Service Estimate, Service Reminder, RSA, Pro Care) and Comfort Connect (Engine Start/Stop, Door Lock/Unlock, Remote AC, Remote Power Windows, Remote Status Check through smartphones.
Under the hood, the NX 350h Overtrail edition retains the same powertrain as its siblings, comprising a 2.5-litre petrol engine paired with two electric motors, delivering a combined output of 243 HP. This power is transmitted to all wheels through a 6-step e-CVT gearbox.
In terms of competition, the Lexus NX 350h Overtrail edition goes head-to-head with other luxury SUVs in its segment, including the Audi Q5, BMW X3, Mercedes-Benz GLC and Volvo XC60.
