Lexus had applied for the LM350h trademark last month
Luxury carmaker Lexus has received the trademark for the LM350h MPV in India and is set to introduce the model here in the near future.
The luxury MPV has an imposing front end thanks to the ultra large spindle grille that Lexus has embraced over the years. However, the side profile is blank, except for the 18-inch wheels in Hyper Chrome Metallic finish.
At the rear the LM350h comes with a slab of a tailgate and a neat bumper. The car features LED projector headlamps, LED DRLs and LED tail lights, powered sliding doors and side steps.
Offered in both 4- and 7-seat layouts (India is likely to get the latter), this MPV from Lexus is packed with goodies like a semi-digital instrument cluster, 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, wireless charger and remote touch interface.
There is wood ornamentation, premium sound system, numerous storage spaces, while the seats have leather upholstery.
The 4-seat model comes with a central partition with elevating glass pane, a 26-inch rear display screen, reclining, massaging, heated and ventilated seats with powered leg rests, a mini fridge, ceiling colour illumination, auto air-con rear heater vents, and more.
However, the 7-seat model puts practicality to the fore and thus trades the big screen and partition for an additional row of seats and a ceiling mounted 13.3-inch display screen.
Power comes from a 2.5-litre NA petrol with hybrid assist. The motor is teamed to an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive should be on offer. The exact power figures for the Indian model is expected to be revealed shortly.
With a whole host of advanced safety features, the Lexus LM350h, is a very luxurious proposition that will be positioned above the Toyota Vellfire which currently costs Rs. 89.90 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
