We’ve come to the dreaded least-selling 2-wheelers in December 2020 chart and it is led by an electric scooter in the form of the Bajaj Chetak.
Having outsold the TVS iQube for months, the Chetak found only 3 takers in the last month of 2020. Having hit rock bottom, the only way for the scooter’s sales to travel is upwards next month.
In second place sits the Aprilia SR 150, which was preferred by only 15 buyers this past month, while the third spot is taken by the TVS iQube electric scooter with 58 units to its name.
Suzuki’s Intruder once again makes it to the least-selling 2-wheelers (December 2020) list, having found only 61 takers last time around and the Apache RR 310 comes next, as TVS only managed to retail 176 units of the bike.
Sixth place in the least-selling chart goes to the Suzuki Gixxer 250, for only 224 units of the quarter litre motorcycle got sold in December, while the Husqvarna 250 twins were not far behind with 297 units either.
The sole Yamaha in the list, the FZ 25 was ridden home only by 346 individuals in December 2020, while as many as 364 people found the smaller Dominar to their liking.
In final place sits the KTM Duke 390, only 394 units of the motorcycle sold during the month of December, clearly not up to the expectations the Austrians have for the motorcycle.
It goes without saying that this list concentrates only on products from the affordable- and premium-end of the 2-wheeler category and does not factor in ultra premium, at least by Indian standards, products.
