French marque Lazareth is known for its whacky custom creations catering to high-end customers seeking something outside of the conventional products available. Lazareth baffled automobile enthusiasts around the world alike when it constructed a Renault Twingo sporting mid-mounted Range Rover V8 engine. It has managed to do so yet again with its all new offering, the Lazareth Wazuma V8F. The Lazareth Wazuma V8F as the name suggests sports a 3.0-litre V8 engine from the 1970s Ferrari 308 sports car mated to a 6-speed sequential gearbox from the BMW M3.
Wazuma V8F which bears a striking resemblance to the Batmobile driven by Christian Bale in the Dark Knight films produces a staggering 250 HP of power with a kerb weight of just 650 kgs. This provides for a power-to-weight ratio of 384 BHP per tonne. The quad sports customised Brembo callipers with four over-sized 324 mm brake discs for increased stopping power. Power is sent to the massive 18-inch Momo rims wrapped in 315/30 ZR18 tyres up front and 285/30 ZR18 tyres at the rear. The Wazuma quad can achieve an incredible top speed of 322 km/hr.
The Lazareth Wazuma V8F uses four made-to-measure horizontal shocks made by yet another French manufacturer EMC. There exists eight intake funnels for four exhaust outlets including a huge cooling radiator. Engine management can be carried out via the computer. Wazuma V8F fundamentally uses three-wheel geometry with two wheels spaced widely up front while the rear wheels are aligned compactly. The Lazareth Wazuma V8F which is simple, aggressive, sleek and displays high performance can be availed at a premium price of $2,50,000 (Rs. 1.55 crores approx.) and if the Matte Black Edition is chosen, the prices for this street-illegal mean machine head nowhere but north.
