Land Rover Discovery is a mid-sized SUV and is highly claimed for its off-road abilities. Land Rover launched the fourth generation Discovery in 2009 and now the company has finally revealed the 2013 Land Rover Discovery 4. The car has been given only few minor tweaks for 2013, but the changes are easily noticeable. Let’s take a detailed look at the upgrades. The exteriors as well as the interiors have been enhanced.
The 2013 Land Rover Discovery will be offered in five different colors namely Havana, Barolo Black, Barossa, Mariana Black and Causeway Grey. The top end model will come equipped with restyled 19-inch alloy wheels and the customer can also get the ‘Black Design’ package which offers 20-inch alloy wheels, gloss black grille and satin black roof rails. On the interiors part, two new interior trims colors will be available; Grand Ivory Lacquer and Cosmic Grey. An improved navigation, revised upholstery and infotainment system with digital TV tuner will also be provided. An additional extended leather package will also be offered which will add premium leather to the dashboard, doors and seats.
The 2.7-litre diesel engine will be replaced by the 3.0-litre diesel engine which will produce 207 BHP of power. The previously used 6-speed gearbox will be updated with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission. The Britain based, Tata Motors owned, Land Rover is spicing up its range and it is the best time to upgrade and introduce the 2013 Discovery in the market.
