The spied Land Rover Defender 130 was completely camouflaged
The 3-row Land Rover Defender 130 has been spied recently and looks on course to join the 90 and 110 models by 2022.
Based on the Defender 110, the new 130 is expected to be longer by 350 mm (coming in at about 5100 mm), while maintaining the 110’s wheelbase of 3022 mm.
At the front, the recently spied Land Rover Defender 130 looks identical to the Defender 110. It even rides on the same wheels.
But, along the sides is where the difference is. The above mentioned increase in length can be clearly seen and the car has a larger rear overhang.
The rear profile is unlikely to be changed for the new Land Rover Defender 130, which is not a bad thing, as the 110 looks good as it is.
Camouflaged from bonnet to tail gate, the development mule also features the tail-mounted spare wheel.
Inside, apart from the availability of a proper third row and reasonable boot space with all 3 rows in place, nothing much should be different, which means, the SUV would be as practical as cars come.
As mentioned before, the production model of the Defender 130 is expected to debut in 2022, closer to the end of the year, provided that COVID-19 does not rear its head again.
