Land Rover has introduced the Classic Defender V8 by Works Bespoke, a fully customisable restoration service that allows clients to personalise a Classic Defender V8 to reflect their individual style. This new offering is set to debut at the Goodwood Revival in September 2024.
The Classic Defender V8 by Works Bespoke represents the latest chapter in the Classic Defender story, showcasing Land Rover’s commitment to blending heritage with modern technology. The vehicle is available in both 90 and 110 body designs, with prices starting at £190,000 (Rs. 2.10 crores) plus applicable taxes.
Personalisation
The Works Bespoke service offers an extensive range of customisation options, enabling clients to tailor every aspect of their Classic Defender V8. This includes a wide selection of materials, interior and exterior colour combinations, finishes, accessories and upgrades. Clients can use the new digital Land Rover Classic configurator tool to visualise their dream Defender, with further personalised support available from the specialist teams at Land Rover Classic Works in Coventry, UK and Essen, Germany.
Handcrafted
Each Classic Defender V8 is remastered by hand in the UK by expert Land Rover Classic engineers. The vehicles are sourced from donor models originally produced between 2012 and 2016 and are fully rebuilt and re-engineered to the highest standards. The remastered vehicles are powered by a genuine Land Rover 405 HP 5.0-litre petrol V8 engine, delivering 515 Nm of torque and paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission.
Expansive Customisation Options
Clients can choose from a variety of exterior finishes, including colours from the Heritage, Contemporary, Premium and SV Metallic palettes or opt for a truly bespoke option through the match-to-sample service. Additional exterior customisation options include different grille styles, bonnet scripts, door handles, wheels, side steps, roof racks and lighting options.
The interior of the Classic Defender V8 is also highly customisable with a range of modern features designed to enhance comfort and usability. Options include leather finishes in various colour schemes, premium seating and the integration of modern technology such as the Land Rover Classic Infotainment System.
Adventure-Ready Features
For those with a taste for adventure, the Classic Defender V8 by Works Bespoke offers accessories like a roof-mounted tent box, ladder and a Ply Guys Camper Conversion, which transforms the rear cabin into a bespoke living space.
