Lamborghini just showed off a new version of their Urus SUV called the Urus SE which is a plug-in hybrid. This is the second hybrid car made by Lamborghini, following the Revuelto. The Urus SE is based on the Urus S but comes with some changes like a new power system, different looks inside and out, and lots of cool new technology.
The engine in the Urus SE is a 4.0-litre V8 with twin turbochargers. It alone can make 620 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. This engine has been updated to work with the hybrid system, which includes a big battery. Altogether, the Urus SE can produce 800 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque.
You can drive the Urus SE in EV mode for up to 60 kms before the gas engine kicks in. Even in electric mode, it still has all-wheel drive. Lamborghini says it can go from 0 to 100 km/hr in just 3.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 312 km/hr. The Urus SE also gets an air suspension.
It also has different driving modes for different situations, like driving on the road or going off-road. There are a total of 10 driving modes now – Strada, Sport, Corsa (road and track), Neve, Sabbia and Terra (off-road) and EV Drive, Hybrid, Recharge and Performance.
The design of the Urus SE is also updated, with changes to the front and rear of the car to make it look more aggressive. It also has new headlights, a new bumper, and a new tailgate at the back.
Inside, there are some changes too. The dashboard has a more modern look, and there’s a bigger touchscreen for controlling things like the radio and navigation.
Overall, the Urus SE is a powerful and high-tech SUV with a hybrid engine, making it that much more efficient than the standard Urus S.
