The recently spied, Lamborghini Urus Evo had an updated design
The upcoming Lamborghini Urus Evo performance SUV has been spied while it was undergoing cold-weather testing on foreign soil.
This particular development mule did not have any camouflage to hide the design changes, indicating that a global reveal is not far away.
So what has changed? Well, for starters, the car has a heavily revised front end. The radiator grille opening in the new bumper is larger and the side air intakes have been restyled.
Also, the recently spied Lamborghini Urus Evo has air outlets in the bonnet, and fresh side sills and at the back, the fenders look a bit wider than before, the diffuser has been worked upon, while there are different air outlets as well.
Inside, apart from updates to the infotainment system, new finish to the trim and different upholstery choices, the Urus Evo should continue with the current model’s cabin layout.
The performance SUV, even after the mid-cycle refresh will continue to use the 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 petrol engine. Lamborghini might massage a few ponies out of the motor that currently makes a claimed 641 HP and 850 Nm of torque.
The 4-wheel drive performance car is rumoured to also get a more powerful version soon, while a more sensible plug-in hybrid variant is also said to be under development.
Expected to go on sale in Europe by the end of this year and in the USA early next year, the Urus Evo should eventually make its way to India sometime in 2023.
